Tests
Test make-up
When a student fails a test in a particular subject area, he may be given the opportunity to take the same test, or a similar test, again within a reasonable period of time. The failing score will be averaged with the new score to obtain a final grade for that particular test.
Standardized Testing
Each year in April or May, Legacy administers the Stanford Achievement Test to all students in the school. These tests are given over a one-week period and then sent to be scored and processed in order to provide parents with specific information concerning the academic standing of the child. These tests are given to both public and private students across America and provide valuable information on student achievement compared with others of the same age and grade level.
Legacy students traditionally score extremely high on these strongly respected tests, attaining a 90% or better National Percentile Ranking average in all subject areas. These excellent results illustrate Legacy's commitment to academic excellence.
